An operator S is an element of L (H ) is said to be nearly equivalent to T if there exists an invertibleoperator V is an element of L (H ) such that S*S = V-1T*TV. In this paper, we study several propertiesof nearly equivalent operators, and investigate their local spectral properties and invariant subspaces.
