The Effect of Building Physical Factors, Socio-demographics and Appliances’ Stock and Usage Characteristics on Energy Consumption by End-use in Apartment Units

본 연구에서는 서울에 위치한 71세대(15단지) 공동주택 세대를 대상으로 현장조사를 통해 건물 물리적 특성, 거주자 사회인구학적 특성, 기기 보유 및 사용 특성을 수집하고, 난방, 냉방, 급탕 등 용도별로 분리・계측할 수 있도록 계측시스템을 설치하여 2017년 5월부터 2018년 4월까지의 용도별 에너지사용량을 획득하였다. 이를 바탕으로 각 용도별 에너지사용량에 유의미한 영향인자를 도출하였으며, 유효 변수의 상대적인 영향력의 크기 및 특성을 분석하기 위해 회귀모델을 5개(영향력이 가장 큰 변수로 구성, 건물 물리적 특성으로만 구성, 거주자 사회인구학적 특성으로만 구성, 기기 보유 및 사용 특성으로만 구성, 특성 정보 전체로 구성)로 설정하여 분석을 수행하였다.

초록/요약

The purpose of this study was to derive and analyze effective variables with building physical factors, socio-demographic, and appliances’stock and usage pattern for the energy consumption by end-use in apartment units. To this end, dwelling and household characteristics of 71apartment units in Seoul were collected through on-site surveys, and the measurement system that could measure energy consumption byend-use separately such as heating, cooling, DHW, etc., and this study obtained data from May 2017 to April 2018. Effective influentialfactors were analyzed through multiple regression analysis using SPSS 24. The results showed that heating energy consumption was mainlyaffected by building physical factors(area for exclusive use), cooling was greatly affected by appliances’ usage pattern(air conditioner operatingpattern), DWH and cooking were heavily influenced by socio-demographics(number of household members, etc). Lighting energy consumptionwas evenly influenced by the building physical factors, socio-demographics, and appliances’ stock and usage pattern, and the electricappliances was evenly influenced by socio-demographics and appliances’ stock and usage pattern.
