초록/요약
본 연구는 아동학대와 자아존중감의 관계에서 인권의식과 우울의 매개효과를 검증하여 사회복지 실천적 함의를 모색하는 것에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원에서 실시한 아동․청소년인권실태조사 2016년 데이터를 사용하였으며, 최종적으로 중학생 3,669명을 연구의 분석 대상으로 활용하였다. 구조방정식모델을 적용하여 분석을 실시하였으며 그 결과, 아동학대는 자아존중감에 직접적인 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 이와 더불어 인권의식과 우울의 매개효과를 분석한 결과 인권의식은 아동학대가 자아존중감에 미치는 영향을 매개하는 것으로 나타났으며, 우울 또한 아동학대와 자아존중감의 관계에서 매개효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 청소년의 자아존중감 증진을 위해 아동학대 방지 및 개입, 인권의식 증진, 우울 완화를 위한 사회복지 실천방안을 제안하였다.

This study aimed to examine the mediating effects of consciousness of human rights and depression on the relationship between child abuse and self-esteem among adolescents. Structural equation modeling analysis was performed to analyze 3,669 middle school students data from 2016 Korean Children and Youth Human Rights Survey. The results showed that child abuse had a direct effect on adolescents’ self-esteem. Moreover, the relationship between child abuse and self-esteem was partially mediated by consciousness of human rights. In addition, it was found that depression was mediated between child abuse and self-esteem. Based on these results, practical implications are suggested to increase self-esteem among adolescents by preventing and intervening in child abuse, enhancing consciousness of human rights, and reducing depression.
