A Study on natural resource policy of Japan and West Germany

Mineral resources are essential for sustained economic growth of Korea. But Korea has rare mineral resources, and most of the resources are imported from abroad. Generally, natural resources price is fluctuated severely by the change of business cycle, and the most of natural resources are produced in LDCs, political and economic situation of which are unstable. Therefore, many of the countries which import natural resources support the business which is dependent heavily on oversea's natural resources. In this article, an attempt is made to find out some idea to develop new policy to support the business effectively, through the survey of Japanese and West Germany's policy about natural resources.
