A Study on the Perceptual Mismatches between Learners and Teachers on Evaluation of Academic Presentation

초록/요약

The purpose of this study is to identify perceptual mismatches between teachers and learners of Korean in academic presentation and to investigate how self-assessment influences recognition of evaluation factors in academic presentation. For this study, a questionnaire on the importance of assessment of academic presentation has been conducted before and after the evaluation. The learners’ group carried out self- assessment and the teachers’ group evaluated the presentation of each learner. The result of this study confirmed that the importance of evaluation factor is perceived differently by the learners and the teachers and that the learners were able to gain a better understanding of the evaluation factors after the self-assessment.
