초록/요약
본 연구는 가정외보호 퇴소청소년의 건강관련 경험에 관한 질적 사례연구이다. 퇴소청소년의 건강과 관련된 경험을 심층적으로 분석하기 위해 연구참여자 5명을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시하고 사례연구를 진행하였다. 연구결과, 사례 내 분석에서는 연구참여자들의 경험을 각 사례별로 정리하였고, 사례 간 분석에서는 사례들을 종합하여 ‘남들과는 다른 어린 시절’, ‘건강을 챙길 여력이 없는 삶’, ‘과거부터 지금까지 연결되는 정신건강’, ‘내겐너무 어려운 건강한 미래’ 4개의 주제와 11개의 하위주제를 도출하였다. 이를 통해 ‘미래의 건강을 당겨 현재의 삶을 소진하는 가불인생’이라는 종합주제를 도출하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 가정외보호 퇴소청소년들의 건강에 관한 사회복지 정책적⋅실천적 함의를 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences related to the health of youths who were discharged from out-of-home care. For this purpose, in-depth interviews and qualitative case studies were conducted on five youths. The within-case analysis summarized the experiences of the five participants one by one. A total of 11 sub-topics and 4 topics were extracted from the cross-case analysis: “childhood different from others”, “a life where I cannot afford to take care of my health”, “mental health connected from the past to the present” and “a healthy future that is too difficult for me”. Four topics led to the comprehensive topic of “youth who harm future health in advance by exhausting the present life”. Based on the findings, this study suggested the implication for social welfare policy and practice to improve the health of youth discharged from out-of-home care.
