본 연구의 목적은 음악영재교육 전문가들을 대상으로 델파이 조사를 실시하여 부모교육의 목적 및 내용의 타당성을 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 32명의 전문가를 대상으로 두 차례 델파이 조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전문가들은 ‘음악영재교육에 대한 이해’, ‘음악영재 자녀에 대한 이해’, ‘진로지도’, ‘부모지원’의 영역을 모두 타당한 부모교육의 영역이라고 답변하였고, 이 중에서도 특히 ‘음악영재 자녀에 대한 이해’가음악영재 부모교육의 가장 타당한 목적이라고 응답하였다. 둘째, 전문가들은 음악영재 부모교육 내용으로 ‘음악영재 자녀의 영재성으로 인한 인지적, 정서적, 기능적, 사회적 특이성에대한 적절한 대응 및 지원’, ‘음악영재를 위한 인성교육 및 생활지도 의의와 가치’, ‘전문가와의 교류 및 상호협력을 통해 자녀 양육에 필요한 정보 및 지원 방법 공유’ 등을 타당하다고 인식하고 있었다. 이러한 결과는 전문가들이 부모들의 자녀의 영재성에 대한 이해뿐만 아니라 음악영재의 인성교육과 생활지도가 가정 내에서 이루어져야 함을 강조하였다는것을 나타낸 것이다.

This research aimed to validate the contents and goals of parent education of the musically gifted by conducting delphi survey for experts in gifted education in music. To do so, two delphic surveys for 32 experts were conducted. The results are as follows. First, the experts acknowledged that ‘understanding gifted education in music,’ ‘understanding musically gifted children,’ ‘career guidance,’ and ‘parent support’ are valid domains for parent education. Second, the experts showed that ‘appropriate action and support to the cognitive, emotional, functional, and social particularity of the musically gifted,’ ‘significance and value of character education and life guidance for the musically gifted,’ and ‘information and support for parenting through exchange and mutual cooperation with experts’ are valid domains. The results demonstrate that the experts emphasized the personality education and life guidance as part of education at home as well as parents understanding of children’s giftedness.
