본 연구는 개인의 암묵이론 중 인간관계는 노력을 통해 변화한다는 믿음인 성장신념과 연인 관계만족에서 진솔성과 갈등해결전략의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 실시했다. 3개월 이상 이성교제 중인 미혼 남녀 180쌍(총360명)을 대상으로 설문을 실시했고 자기-상대방 상호의존 모형(Actor-Partner Interdependence Model: APIM)을 이용해 가설을 검증했다. 그 결과 남녀 모두 자신의 성장신념과 자신의 관계만족의 관계를 자신의 진솔성이 매개했다. 여성의 갈등해결전략은 남성의 성장신념과 남성의 관계만족, 그리고 여성의 성장신념과 남성의 관계만족의 관계를 매개했다. 여성의 성장신념과 남성의 관계만족의 관계는 여성의 진솔성과 여성의 갈등해결전략이 이중 매개했다. 본 연구는 자기-상대방 모형을 통해 사회인지적 변인인 성장신념이 자신뿐 아니라 상대방의 관계만족에 기여하는 경로에서 관계적 변인인 진솔성 및 갈등해결전략의 역할을 검증한 의의가 있다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 상담 실제에 대한 시사점과 추후 연구를 위한 제언을 논의에 포함했다.

This study aimed to examine mediation effects of relationship authenticity and conflict resolution strategies in the relationship between growth belief and relational satisfaction using Actor-Parent Interdependence Model(APIM). Participants were 180 dating couples and they filled out survey on-line. We found that own relationship authenticity mediated the link between both man and woman’s own growth belief and relational satisfaction. The link between man’s growth belief and his relational satisfaction was mediated by his girl friend’s constructive conflict resolution strategy(compromising, integrating). The link between woman’s growth belief and man’s relational satisfaction was mediated by woman’s constructive conflict resolution strategy. The link between woman’s growth belief and man’s relational satisfaction was mediated by woman’s relationship authenticity and woman’s constructive conflict resolution strategy. Implications for counseling practice and suggestions for future research are discussed.
