초록/요약
The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of discrimination victim experience on discrimination behavior among elementary school students, and the mediating and moderating effects of social capital in this relationship. For this study, the 2016 data from the survey on the ‘Human Rights of Children and Adolescents’ were used. The results of this study were as follows: First, it was found that discrimination victim experience affects discrimination behavior among elementary school students. Second, when analyzing the mediating effects of family, school, community social capital on the relationship between discrimination victim experience and discrimination behavior among elementary school students, all three social capital were found to have mediating effects. Third, as a result of analyzing the moderating effect of social capital on the relationship between discrimination victim experience and discrimination behavior amomg elementary school students, only community social capital showed a moderating effect. This study suggests effective practice and policy interventions to prevent students from experiencing discrimination.

본 연구의 목적은 초등학생의 차별피해경험이 차별가해경험에 미치는 영향과 그 관계에서 사회자본의 매개효과와 조절효과를 살펴보는 것이다. 이 연구를 위해 아동․청소년 인권실태조사의 2016년 데이터를 사용했다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학생의 차별피해경험은 차별가해경험에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 초등학생의 차별피해경험이 차별가해경험에 미치는 영향에서 가족․학교․지역사회자본의 매개효과를 분석한 결과, 세 자본 모두 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 초등학생의 차별피해경험이 차별가해경험에 미치는 영향에서 가족․학교․지역사회자본의 조절효과를 분석한 결과, 지역사회자본이 유의미한 조절효과를 나타냈다. 본 연구결과에 기반하여 학생들의 차별경험을 예방하기 위한 효과적인 개입 방안을 제시하였다.
