초록/요약
This research aims to identify direction of improvement of an integrated arts program and issues for integrated arts education. In order to investigate these topics, researchers developed and ran an integrated arts program. In this program, students enjoyed artistic experiences while participating creative works of blended arts activities from music(pop band), literature, and fine arts. This article describes the program plans and results focusing on integrated arts activities. In addition, researchers interviewed six participant students and six parents after the program in order to ask what are their experiences and percieved pros and cons of arts integrated education during the program. Results showed that this arts integrated program stimulated participants’ artistic interests and imagination as well as gave them opportunities to investigate future career related to arts. For effective adaptation of arts integrated education, researchers discussed on the needs for appropriate approach for young learners who do not have much artistic experiences and excellence as well as proper combination of individual and group activities for further artistic exploration.

본 연구는 음악, 미술, 문학을 연계한 통합문화예술교육 프로그램을 개발하고 실행한 후, 참여자들의 경험을 살펴봄으로써 프로그램의 과정과 결과를 성찰하고, 나아가 통합문화예술교육의 발전 방향성을 논의하고 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구에서 개발한 프로그램은 대중음악밴드를 중심으로 문학과 미술을 연계한 통합 활동에 학생들이 직접 참여하며 예술을 향유할 수 있는 창의적인 활동으로 수업을 구성하였다. 프로그램 종료 후, 참여 학생 6인과 학부모 6인을 대상으로 인터뷰를 진행하여 통합 활동에 참여하며 느낀 점에 대한 의견을 수렴하였다. 이를 통해 발견한 통합문화예술교육의 효과와 향후 발전을 위한 논의는 다음과 같다. 본 연구의 통합문화예술교육 프로그램은 학습자의 예술적인 흥미와 상상력을 자극하고 예술에 대한 포괄적 관점을 구성하도록 도왔으며, 자기주도적 태도와 성취감을 발달시켜주었고, 학생들이 예술과 관련된 진로를 고민하고 탐색하는 기회를 제공해주었다. 한편 통합문화예술교육 프로그램이 교육 현장에 보다 효과적으로 적용되기 위해서는 학습자의 연령과 예술적 수준에 적합한 활동 구성을 위한 구체적인 연구와 환경의 조성, 개인 및 그룹 활동의 적절한 안배를 통한 예술적 탐색의 가능성 확대가 요구된다.
