급변하는 사회 환경 속에서 디지털 리터러시 역량의 중요성이 부각되고 있으나, 이를 효과적으로 향상하기 위한교육 방안에 대한 논의는 충분히 이루어지지 못하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 학습자의 디지털 리터러시 환경, 디지털 활동 양상과 디지털 리터러시 역량 간의 관계를 분석하여 향후 교육 계획을 체계화하기 위한 기초 자료로활용하고자 하였다. 이 연구에는 5개 시·도의 중학교 1학년 1001명이 참여하였으며, 측정 도구로는 학습자의 디지털환경 및 디지털 활동 양상 파악을 위한 설문지와 디지털 리터러시 역량 자기진단 평가도구가 활용되었다. 디지털환경에 따라 디지털 활동 양상이 어떻게 나타나는지 알아보기 위해 교차분석을 실시하였으며, 디지털 환경에 따라디지털 리터러시 역량이 어떻게 나타나는지 파악하기 위해 평균 차이 검증을 실시하였다. 또 디지털 활동 양상에따라 디지털 리터러시 역량에 차이가 있는지 파악하기 위해 일원분산분석을 실시하였으며, 그 영향의 정도를 알아보기위해서는 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 우리나라 중학생들은 다양한 형태의 디지털 활동에 높은 빈도로참여하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었으며, 활동 양상에 따라 디지털 리터러시 역량에 미치는 영향이 다르게 나타난다는점을 확인할 수 있었다. 분석 결과를 토대로 디지털 리터러시 역량 제고를 위한 방안, 그리고 후속 연구의 필요성에대해 제언하였다.

While the importance of digital literacy competence is being emphasized, research on educational intervention to effectively improve it have not been sufficiently conducted. Therefore, in this study, the relationship between learners' digital environment, digital activity, and digital literacy competence was analyzed to be used as basic data to systematize educational plans in the future. A total of 1001 middle school students from five provinces participated and a questionnaire for learners' digital environment and digital activity and a self-diagnosis evaluation tool for digital literacy competence were used. Chi-square test was conducted to find out how the digital activity appeared according to the digital environment, and t-test and F-test was implemented to examine how the digital literacy competence appeared according to the digital environment. Also one-way variance analysis was conducted to determine whether there is a difference in digital literacy competence according to the digital activity. The results showed that middle school students in Korea participated in various types of digital activities with high frequency, and it was confirmed that the influence on digital literacy competence appeared differently depending on the activity pattern. Based on the analysis results, a plan for enhancing digital literacy competence and the necessity of follow-up research were suggested.
