초록/요약
본 연구는 부모로부터의 학대가 초기 청소년의 우울에 미치는 영향에서 사회적 위축과 또래소외가 매개효과를 가지는지를 검증하여 초기 청소년의 우울에 대한 효과적인 학교사회복지 측면의 개입방안 및 정책적 함의를 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 한국 아동 청소년 패널조사 초등학교 1학년 6차(2015)년도 자료의 초등학교 6학년 학생 총 2,067명을 대상으로 구조방정식모형을 통해 분석하였다. 그 결과, 부모로부터의 학대는 초기 청소년의 우울에 직접적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 부모의 학대가 초기 청소년의 우울에 미치는 영향에서 사회적 위축과 또래소외 모두 부분적으로 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 부모로부터의 학대는 청소년의 우울에 정적인 영향을 미치며, 사회적 위축과 또래소외를 통한 정적인 간접효과를 미쳐 전체적인 효과를 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 부모로부터의 학대가 우울에 미치는 영향에 있어 개인적인 사회적 위축뿐 아니라 또래관계에서의 소외를 통해 우울에 미치는 간접적 효과를 증가시킨다는 점에서 부모로부터 학대의 직접적 영향 및 간접적 영향도 함께 고려한 개입을 할 필요가 있으며, 이를 위한 초기 청소년 시기의 효과적인 학교사회복지적 실천방안 및 정책적 함의를 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to find effective ways to intervene in early adolescents’ depression by verifying whether social withdrawal and peer alienation have a mediating effect in the relationship between child abuse by parents and depression in early adolescents. For the purpose of the the study, authors used the sixth year dataset of Korea Children and Youth Panel Study(KCYPS, 2015). A total of 2,067 students were inclused in the final analysis, and the authors used a structural equation model to test direct and direct effects of child abuse on depression in early adolescents. The results are as follows. First, child abuse by parents had a direct impact on early adolescents’ depression, and both social withdrawal and peer alienation were partially mediated in the effects of child abuse by parents on early adolescents’ depression. Based on the results, authors proposed that teachers and school social workers pay close attention to direct and indirect effects of child abuse by parents on depression via social withdrawal and peer alienation in early adolelscents so as to promote mental health in them.
