This study aimed to analyze the differences and similarities among Korean, Chinese, and Vietnamese culture and language by comparing the Korean comedy <Miss Granny> and its two remake films. Based on the research results, an education strategy is made to help Chinese and Vietnamese students overcome the language barriers and cultural differences, communicate well in Korean, and have better two-way interaction between speakers and listeners. Understanding language presupposes an understanding of culture. Therefore, when using Korean, Korean learners need to consider the language-cultural differences between the country of the mother tongue and the country of the target language. Knowing the culture expressed in each country means knowing the corresponding language expressions as well. This study is meaningful because it provides educational materials to examine the contents of cultural education and Korean language education by comparing and analyzing cultural and linguistic factors as revealed in Korean, Chinese, and Vietnamese films.
