본 연구는 맥락주의 비평 이론에 근거한 현대미술 감상 수업이 고등학생의 비판 적 사고성향에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이에 따라 맥락주의 비평과 비판적 사고에 대한 선행연구와 문헌 조사를 통해 이론적으로 고찰하였으며, 맥락주의 비평 이론에 근거한 현대미술 감상 수업을 개발하여 양적연구를 진행하였 다. 연구 대상은 경기도 성남시 분당구에 위치한 B고등학교의 1학년 89명을 단일집 단으로 선정하였으며, 블록타임을 적용한 총 6차시 분량의 비대면 수업을 시행하였 다. 연구 대상의 비판적 사고성향의 측정을 위해 김명숙(2002)에 의해 개발된 ‘K 비 판적 사고성향 검사’ 도구를 재구성하여 활용하였다. 연구결과의 도출과 검증을 위 해 사전·사후 검사의 시행 후 SPSS 프로그램을 활용하여 검사지를 분석하였으며, 수업에 활용된 활동지와 설문지를 분석하였다. 위 절차와 방법을 통해 연구를 진행 한 결과, 맥락주의 비평 이론에 근거한 현대미술 감상 수업이 연구 대상의 비판적 사고성향의 영역에 유의미한 변화를 나타내었으며, 비판적 사고성향의 하위 영역의 일부에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influnece of contemporary art appreciation class based on contextualist criticism theory on the critical thinking disposition of high school students. Accordingly, a theoretical study was conducted on contextualist criticism and critical thinking through prior research and literature review, and a quantitative study was conducted by developing a contemporary art appreciation class based on the contextualist criticism theory. A single group of 89 first graders in High School B located in Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do was organized as subjects for this research proceeding art criticism class developed earlier for 6 sessions online. In order to measure the critical thinking disposition of the research subject, the ‘K Critical Thinking Disposition Test’ tool developed by Myung-sook Kim(2002) was reconstructed and used. The pre- and post-test was conducted and the test results were analyzed using the SPSS program to verify the effectiveness of this research class along with the class worksheet, written critique, and survey questionnaires were analyzed. As a result of conducting the study through the above procedure and method, the contemporary art appreciation class based on the contextualist criticism theory showed a significant change in the area of the subject's critical thinking disposition, and had a positive effect on some of the sub-domains of the critical thinking disposition. In future research, it is necessary to secure more than 6 sessions of class in order to affect the overall sub-domains of the critical thinking disposition for long-term research. In addition, future research will require more careful selection of works considering the genre of contemporary art and the diversity of media, and a composition of appreciation classes considering learners' interests.
