초록/요약
연구목적: 본 연구는 특수학교에서 발달장애 중고등학생에게 학교 안전교육을 실시하는 특수교사들이 학교 안전교육과 관련하여 갖고 있는 인식과 경험을 조사하기 위해 실행되었다. 연구방법: 서울, 경기, 인천, 부산에 위치한 특수학교에서 발달장애 중고등학생에게 안전교육을 실시한 10명의 중등 특수교사를 대상으로 개별 심층 면담을 실시하고 그 자료를 전사한 후 질적 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 질적 분석 결과, 발달장애 중고등학생 안전교육 현황, 안전교육 관련 고충, 안전교육 내실화를 위한 지원 요구라는 3개의 대주제와 10개의 하위주제가 도출되었다. 결론: 마지막으로 연구결과를 논의하고, 이를 바탕으로 학교 안전교육을 위한 효과적인 프로그램 개발과 효율적인 실행을 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the perceptions and experiences on school safety education of special school teachers who teach secondary students with developmental disabilities. Method: In-depth individual interviews were conducted with ten secondary special education teachers who worked in special schools located either in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Incheon, or Busan. Results: Three themes and ten sub-themes emerged from qualitative analyses of the interview data. The themes were current status of safety education for secondary students with developmental disabilities, difficulties in safety education for the population, and support needs for effective implementation of safety education. Conclusion: This study is significant because it provides useful data to develop future safety education programs and deliver safety education effectively.
