원격수업을 경험한 중등미술교사의 교사효능감과 직무만족도 변화에 대한 질적 연구: 심층면담을 중심으로

본 연구는 원격수업의 도입으로 인한 미술 수업의 변화와 그에 따른 중등미술교사의 교사효능감과 직무만족도의 변화와 요인을 질적 연구 방법을 통해 살펴보고자 하였다. 중등미술교사 3인을 대상으로 심층 면담을 총 9회 진행하였으며, 이에 “원격 미술 수업”은 상위범주 5개, 중범주 9개 하위범주 15개, “교사효능감”은 상위범주 2개, 중범주 4개, 하위범주 8개 그리고 “직무만족도”는 상위범주 2개, 중범주 4개, 하위범주 5개를 도출하였으며 이를 기반으로 “저하와 회복,” “신념과 환경”이라는 키워드를 도출하였다. 본 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중등미술교사는 원격수업에서 “혼란과 적응,” “부담감”을 느꼈으며, 미술 수업은 공간과 활동 등의 “수업의 변화”가 있었다. 교사는 소통과 평가의 “어려움”을 겪는 동시에, 발전의 “가능성”을 발견하였으며, 적극적으로 문제를 “해결”하는 모습을 보였다. 둘째, 중등미술교사의 교사효능감과 직무만족도의 변화는 개별적으로 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 원격수업으로 인한 교사효능감과 직무만족도의 저하는 대부분 일시적이었으며 차츰 회복하는 모습을 보였다. 넷째, 교사효능감이 높은 교사는 교육환경의 변화에도 교육적 능력에 대한 신념에 변함이 없었으며, 직무만족도를 유지하는 모습을 보였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how art classes changed following the adoption of distance learning; as well as how this affected secondary school art teachers’ efficacy and job satisfaction. By doing qualitative research to ascertain these changes, the results are as follows: Firstly, secondary art teachers felt "confusion and struggled with adapting to distance learning and felt” burdened” by distance learning. In addition, art classes had "changes" such as space and activities. Teachers experienced "difficulties" of communication and evaluation; while also discovering the "possibility" of development and actively "solving" problems. Secondly, changes in teacher efficacy and job satisfaction of secondary art teachers differed individually. Thirdly, the decline in teacher efficacy and job satisfaction due to distance learning was mostly temporary and gradually recovered. Fourthly, teachers with a high sense of teacher efficacy remained unchanged in their beliefs about educations success despite changes in the educational environment and teachers who maintained their sense of efficacy remained satisfied with their duties.
