내용분석 및 키워드 네트워크 분석 방법을 활용한 ‘어린이미디어연구’의 연구동향 분석

본 연구는 영유아 미디어교육을 선도하는 ‘어린이미디어연구’ 학술지의 연구동향을 알아보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 ‘어린이미디어연구’에 투고된 546편의 논문과, 논문에 포함된 1814개의 주제어를 분석 대상으로 선정하였으며, 빈도분석을 통한 내용분석 방법과 유아교육 정책 시기별로 나누어 키워드 네트워크 분석 방법을 사용하였다. 연구결과로 내용분석의 경우, 한 해에 발간하는 논문의 편수가 점차 증가하는 경향을 보였고, 연구방법 측면에서는 양적연구가 가장 많이 이루어졌으며, 연구대상의 측면에서는 인적대상 중 유아를 연구대상으로 한 연구가 가장 많았다. 키워드 네트워크 분석의 결과, 1기에서는 ‘유아컴퓨터교육’, ‘교사인식’, 2기에서는 ‘교수효능감’, ‘예비유아교사’, ‘어린이집’, ‘로봇기반교육’, 3기에서는 ‘그림책’, ‘예비유아교사’, ‘로봇기반교육’, ‘유아’, ‘정서지능’, ‘영아’, 4기에서는 ‘그림책’, ‘유아’, ‘유아교사’ 키워드가 시기별 네트워크 내에서 주요한 개념이자 연구주제이면서 다른 주제 및 변인과 함께 많이 다루어진 핵심 키워드로 나타났다. 이를 토대로, ‘어린이미디어연구’ 학술지 및 유아교육 학계의 발전을 위하여 사회 및 정책적 변화를 반영하는 연구의 방향성과 학회와 학계의 노력이 필요함을 제기하였다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the research trends of the ‘Journal of Children’s Media and Education’ that leads media education for young children. For this, 546 articles on the ‘Journal of Children’s Media and Education’ and 1,814 keywords on those articles were selected for analysis, content analysis method was performed through frequency analysis and keyword network analysis method was used by dividing the early childhood education by its policy period. As a result of content analysis, the number of articles published in a year tended to increase gradually, quantitative research was conducted the most in terms of research methods, and studies on children were conducted the most among human subjects. As a result of keyword network analysis, 1st Period; “Early Childhood Computer Education”, “Teacher’s Recognition”, 2nd Period; “Teaching Efficiency”, “Pre-service Early Childhood Teacher”, “Daycare Center”, “Robot-based Learning”, 3rd Period; “Picture Book”, “Pre-service Early Childhood Teacher”, “Robot-based Learning”, “Children”, “Emotional Intelligence”, “Infant and Toddler”, 4th Period; “Picture Book”, “Children”, “Early childhood teacher” were found to be the major concepts and research topics within each periods, and they were also the main keywords that were dealt with many other topics and variables. Based on the result, to improve the 'Journal of Children’s Media and Education' and early childhood education academia, the direction of research should reflect social and political changes and the efforts of associations and academia are necessary.
