무경계 경력에 관한 통합적 문헌고찰: 2010년-2021년 국내‧외 양적연구를 중심으로

본 연구의 주요 목적은 국내‧외 양적연구를 중심으로 무경계 경력에 관한 통합적 문헌 고찰을 실시함으로써 연구의 동향을 분석하고, 향후 연구 방향을 제시하는데 있다. 이를 위해 Torraco(2005, 2016)가 제시한 통합적 문헌 분석 연구수행 절차 및 방법에 따라 2010년부터 2021년 6월까지를 기준으로 국내‧외 학술정보 데이터베이스에서 무경계 경력을 제목 및 주제어로 검색하였다. 검색된 논문 중 최종적으로 분석에 활용된 논문은 총 26편(국내논문 11편, 국외논문 15편)이며, 다음과 같은 주요 연구결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 무경계 경력에 관한 연구는 2010년 이후 현재까지 꾸준히 진행되고 있다. 둘째, 연구 분야 측면에서는 인적자원개발 및 관광, 경영, 심리 등 다양한 학문분야에서 무경계 경력 연구가 이루어졌다. 셋째, 연구대상은 주로 근로자 및 대학생으로 나타났다. 넷째, 연구 방법 측면에서는 대부분 횡단연구가 이루어졌으므로 앞으로는 종단연구로도 무경계 경력 연구를 진행할 필요가 있다. 다섯째, 무경계 경력은 독립변인으로 가장 많이 활용되었다. 여섯째, 무경계 경력이 독립변인으로 쓰였을 때 가장 많이 사용된 종속변인은 주관적 경력성공이었다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 향후 연구의 방향 및 시사점을 제시하였다.

초록/요약

The purpose of this study was to analyze research trends by conducting an integrative literature review on boundaryless careers with emphasis on empirical studies published in Korea and abroad. The title and keywords related to boundaryless careers were used to search the literature in academic information databases from January 2010 to June 2021 using Torraco's integrative literature review guidelines (2005, 2016). A total of 26 articles were subjected to analyze and the results were as follows. First, empirical studies on boundaryless careers have been conducted since 2010 in Korea and abroad. Second, studies of boundaryless careers have been conducted in various academic disciplines (e.g., tourism, business administration, psychology, and human resource development). Third, study subjects were mainly employees and university students. Fourth, cross-sectional designs were used in preference to longitudinal designs. Fifth, boundaryless career was usually used as an independent variable and subjective career success as a dependent variable. Based on the results obtained, we suggest future research directions and implications.
