본 연구는 세계시민교육 프로그램 개발과 관련된 국내 선행연구를 분석하여, 향후 세계시민교육 프로그램 개발에 대한 시사점을 파악하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 2015년부터 2021년까지 9월까지 발표된 국내 논문 총 18편을 선정하여 연구 동향과 프로그램 특성을 체계적 문헌 분석 방법을 사용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 2019년에 가장 많은 수의 논문이 발표되었다. 둘째, 고등학생을 대상으로 하는 연구가 가장 많았다. 셋째, 단일집단 사전·사후 설계가 연구 방법으로 가장 많이 사용되었다. 넷째, 교육 차시는 6-10차시 이하가 가장 많았으며 적용 교과는 주지 교과 중 사회과가 가장 많았다. 교육 방법은 토의·토론(비판적 사고)학습이 다수로 이뤄졌다. 다섯째, 프로그램 내용 요소 분석은 ‘지역적·전 지구적 차원에서 의사결정을 내리고 행동하는데 필요한 지식, 기능, 책임감 느끼기’가 내용의 가장 많은 부분을 차지하고 있었다. 여섯째, 프로그램의 종속변인 분석 결과 ‘태도 영역’이 가장 많이 포함되었다. 본 연구의 분석 결과를 바탕으로 세계시민교육 프로그램의 실제와 향후 연구 방향에 대한 시사점을 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze domestic studies related to the development of global citizenship education programs and to provide implications for future development of global citizenship education programs. For this purpose, a total of 18 domestic studies published from 2015 to September 2021 were selected to analyze research trends and program characteristics. The results are as follows. First, the largest number of studies were published in 2019. Second, studies targeting high school students were the most common. Third, single group pre-and post-test designs were most often used as research methods. Fourth, the most frequent educational session time was 6-10, and social studies were the most targeted subjects among major subjects. The most preferred educational method consisted of discussion methods. Fifth, the analysis of program content elements indicated that the most frequent program contents were knowledge, function, and responsibility that are needed to make decisions and act at the regional and global levels. Sixth, the analysis of the dependent variable of the program revealed that the "attitude" area was included the most. Based on the results of this study, implications for the actual and future research directions of the global citizenship education program were discussed.
