초‧중등 과학교사들의 인공지능 기반 서술형 자동채점 시스템 수용의도에 대한 연구

본 연구는 인공지능 기반 서술형 자동채점 시스템에 대한 정서와 수용의도에 따라 구별되는 교사 잠재집단을 파악하고, 각 잠재집단이 인공지능에 대한 친숙도, 인공지능 기반 서술형 자동채점 시스템의 유용성, 위험성 측면에서 어떠한 차이를 보이는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 초등학교 교사 및 중‧고등학교 과학교사 221명을 대상으로 설문을 진행하였으며, 설문은 인공지능 기반 서술형 자동채점 시스템에 대한 긍정적 감정, 부정적 감정, 수용의도, 인지된 개인적 유용성, 교육적 위험성, 개인적 위험성, 그리고 인공지능에 대한 친숙도와 관련된 44개의 문항으로 구성되었다. 연구 결과, 인공지능 기반 서술형 자동채점 시스템에 대한 수용의도와 관련된 교사 잠재집단은‘적극적 수용집단’, ‘소극적 수용집단’, ‘소극적 비수용집단’, ‘적극적 비수용집단’으로 나뉘었다. 각 잠재집단의 차이를 살펴본 결과, 시스템에 대한 유용성과 위험하지는 않은지에 대한 인식이 프로그램의 수용 여부에 영향을 주는 것을 확인하였으며, 인공지능 기술에 대한 높은 친숙도가 적극적 수용 집단과 다른 집단을 구별하는 유의미한 지표임을 확인하였다. 위의 결과들을 바탕으로 향후 인공지능 관련 교육 시스템이 교육 현장에서 효과적으로 활용될 수 있는 방안과 시사점에 대하여 논의하였다.

This study aims to examine latent classes of teachers that are classified according to their emotions and intention to use automated computer scoring system using artificial intelligence. The differences between each latent class in terms of familiarity of artificial intelligence, usefulness and perceived risk of an automated computer scoring system using artificial intelligence was also investigated. For this, we surveyed 221 elementary and secondary science teachers and the questionnaire consisted of 44 items about positive emotions, negative emotions, intention to use, perceived personal and educational usefulness, perceived personal and educational risks of an automated computer scoring system using artificial intelligence, and familiarity of artificial intelligence. The result of this study showed that there are four latent classes of teachers: 'active acceptance group', 'passive acceptance group', 'passive non-acceptance group', and 'active non-acceptance group'. It was found that the perception of the usefulness and risk of the system affects whether the system is accepted or not, and it was also found that high familiarity with artificial intelligence technology is a significant indicator that distinguishes the active acceptance group from other groups. Based on these results, educational implications and how educational systems using artificial intelligence can be utilized effectively in school field were discussed.
