연구목적: 이 연구는 청소년기에 일탈 경험이 있는 성인의 생애사 연구다. 연구의 목적은 청소년기 일탈 경험이 있는 성인의 성장기 가족 경험과 적응을 향한 생애 경험을 이해하는 것이다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 청소년기 지속적인 일탈 행동이 있었던 만 25세-45세 미만의 연구참여자 4명을 대상으로 2019년 10월부터 2020년 2월까지 생애사적 내러티브 면담을 실시하였다. 초기설문지와 심층 면담을 통해 자료를 수집하여 개별 연구참여자들의 생애를 기술하고 참여자들 이야기 속 공통적으로 도출된 주제를 분석하였다. 연구결과: 그 결과 청소년기 일탈 경험이 있는 성인의 생애 경험은 ‘일탈을 향하여’와 ‘적응을 향하여’로 범주화할 수 있었으며 마음의 집이 되어주지 못한 가정환경, 좋은 어른이 있었더라면, 필연적으로 찾아온 일탈, 내 삶이 소중하니까, 일탈 경험에서 의미 찾기, 차곡차곡 쌓이는 자부심, 여전히 고군분투 중이라는 하위 7개의 주제로 나타났다. 논의 및 결론: 이 연구는 내부자적 시각에서 청소년기의 일탈 행동을 가족 경험과 관련지어 이해하고 성인기까지 이어지는 적응과정을 심층적으로 살펴보면서, 사회적 시사점을 고찰해 보았다는 의의가 있다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 비행 예방 및 개입을 위한 상담적 함의를 제시하였다.

Purpose: This study explores the life history of adults who have experienced deviations in adolescence. The purpose of this study is to understand the family experience and life experience toward adaptation of adults with adolescent deviant experiences. Method: For this study, four study participants aged 25 to 45 who had continuous deviant behavior in adolescence were interviewed with life history narratives from October 2019 to February 2020. Data were collected through initial questionnaires and in-depth interviews to describe the lives of individual research participants and analyze topics commonly derived from the participants' stories. Results: As a result, the life experiences of adults with adolescent deviant experiences could be categorized into ‘Towards Deviance’ and ‘Towards Adaptation,’ and seven sub-topics were ‘home environment that has not been a house of hearts,’ ‘if there had been a good adult,’ ‘unavoidable deviance,’ ‘because my life is precious,’ ‘find meaning in deviance experience,’ ‘pride piling up one by one,’ and ‘still struggling.’ Conclusion: This study is meaningful in that it examined social implications by understanding the deviant behavior of adolescence in relation to family experience from an insider perspective and examining the adaptation process leading to adulthood in depth. Based on the findings, counseling implications for delinquency prevention and intervention were presented.
