Secretarial Studies for Three Decades: Analyzing Studies on Communication

초록/요약

본 연구는 비서학 분야에서 이루어진 커뮤니케이션 관련 연구 동향을 분석하여 향후 커뮤니케이션 관련 연구를 위한 발전적인 제안을 하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 비서·사무경영연구 창간호부터 2022년 3월까지 학술지에 게재된 커뮤니케이션 관련 연구를 수집하기 위하여, 한국비서학회의 학술지 홈페이지에서 커뮤니케이션을 키워드로 논문을 검색하고 출간된 학술지 목차에 제시된 연구제목을 모두 살펴보며 관련 논문을 수집하였다. 커뮤니케이션을 키워드로 검색된 논문 65편 중, 커뮤니케이션을 주제로 다룬 38편의 논문을 분석대상으로 하였다. 키워드로 커뮤니케이션 관련 논문으로 검색된 논문의 경우, 서론과 결론을 읽으며, 논문에서 커뮤니케이션이 어떤 맥락에서 어떻게 언급된 것인지를 파악하였다. 연구영역, 연구방법, 연구범위, 연구의 세부내용과 제안범위를 파악할 수 있는 커뮤니케이션을 주제로 한 연구의 경우에는 질적분석을 위한 코딩을 하였다. 커뮤니케이션 연구는 우리말 커뮤니케이션 연구와 영어 커뮤니케이션 연구의 두 가지로 분류할 수 있었다. 우리말 커뮤니케이션과 영어 커뮤니케이션을 주제로 한 논문은 연구방법, 연구영역, 연구의 세부내용과 제안범위의 측면에서 각각 내용분석하였다. 연구대상이 된 논문 중 우리말 커뮤니케이션 연구와 영어 커뮤니케이션 연구는 연구방법, 연구영역, 연구 세부내용, 그리고 제안범위 측면에서 빈도와 분포를 도식화하여 현재까지 이루어진 비서학 분야의 커뮤니케이션 연구의 현재의 동향을 좀 더 명확하게 볼 수 있게 하였고 향후 어떠한 커뮤니케이션 연구가 필요한지 제안하였다.

초록/요약

This study aims to assess the current status of the communication studies in the field of secretarial studies. The communication-related studies published in the journal of Secretarial Studies in the past three decades from 1993 to 2022 were searched and collected using the key word search at the Journal website. Using the key words, English and communication, 65 studies were first retrieved. While reading all 65 papers searched, 38 papers were identified as the studies on communication. When the research focus of a retrieved communication studies paper is not on English or communication, the abstract, introduction, and conclusion of the paper were carefully read to see how the study is identified as communication study. The 38 studies focusing on either communication or English were categorized into studies on Korean and English communications, respectively.. The studies then were further analyzed in terms of research method, research materials, research scope, research topic, and the suggestion scope. Based on the result of the study, the needs for the future studies are identified and suggested.
