초록/요약
As the importance of information literacy is ever growing in the intelligent and information-oriented society, the need for information literacy in the education field is also increasing. This study examines the comprehensive meaning of information literacy and its particular meaning in mathematics education, and explores the competencies of information literacy for mathematics based on the literature review. The results showed that information literacy for mathematics consisted of two different domains as a set of competencies; individual cognitive domain and social domain. Individual cognitive domain included thinking competency and the competency to utilize tools. The social domain consisted of social communication competency, and social awareness and practice competency. This study emphasizes the importance of information literacy for mathematics as a competency to adapt to the rapid social changes, following the development of information and technology. This study provides meaningful implications for the future competency-based curriculum as fundamental research.

지능·정보화 사회에서 정보 리터러시에 대한 관심이 높아짐에 따라 교육 분야에서도 교육적 특성을 반영한 정보 리터러시 연구의 필요성이 커지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 정보 리터러시의 일반적인 의미와 수학 교과에의 의미를 고찰하고 문헌 연구를 통해 수학 교과에서의 정보 리터러시를 구성할 수 있는 역량들을 탐색하였다. 그 결과 수학 교과를 위한 정보 리터러시를 개인의 인지적 영역에서 사고 역량, 도구 활용 역량과 사회적 영역에서 사회 소통 역량, 사회 의식 및 실천 역량으로 구성하고 역량의 집합체로서 설명하였다. 이와 같이 본 연구는 빠르게 변화하는 사회에 적응하기 위해 수학 교과를 통한 정보 리터러시의 중요성을 강조하고 주요 역량으로서 함양하도록 제안하였다.
