초록/요약
본 연구의 목적은 키워드 네트워크 분석을 활용하여 국내 유아기 지속가능발전교육의 연구동향을 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 유아기 지속가능발전교육과 관련된 국내 연구물에 포함된 394개의 주제어를 분석 대상으로 선정하였다. 분석은 지속가능발전목표(SDGs)가 공표된 2015년을 기준으로 상반기와 하반기로 시기를 구분하여 진행하였다. 연구결과 2009년부터 2015년에 해당하는 상반기의 경우 ‘지속가능발전교육’만이, 2016년부터 현재까지(2021년 12월)에 해당하는 하반기의 경우 ‘지속가능발전교육’, ‘지속가능발전’, ‘지속가능발전환경교육’, ‘환경친화적태도’, ‘공동체의식’ 키워드가 주요 키워드로 나타났다. 이를 토대로 지속가능발전 및 지속가능발전교육 개념의 본질에 근거한 용어 사용과 교사양성과정에서부터 해당 개념에 대한 이해와 실천의 도모가 필요함을 제시하였다. 또한 유아기 지속가능발전교육에 대한 학계와 현장에서의 보다 많은 관심을 촉구하고 향후 연구 방향성과 노력의 필요성을 제기하였다.

The purpose of the study was to investigate research trends in education for sustainable development (ESD) in early childhood in Korea using keyword network analysis. To this end, 394 keywords in domestic research related to education for sustainable development in early childhood were selected. For the analysis, as of 2015, when the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were announced, the period was divided into the first half and the second half. As a result of the study, only “education for sustainable development” was found in the first halves, of 2009 to 2015, and “education for sustainable development”, “sustainable development”, “sustainable development environmental education”, “environment-friendly attitudes” and “community awareness” were the keywords found in the second halves, of 2016 to the present(December 2021). Based on this, the terms ‘sustainable development’and‘education for sustainable development’ were needed to be used based on their essence of the concept and the need to understand and practice the concept from the period of pre-service teacher education was suggested. In addition, it encouraged academia and the education field to cultivate a greater interest in education for sustainable development in early childhood and suggested the need for future research directions and efforts.
