본 연구에서는 4차 산업혁명과 코로나19 이후 빠르게 변화하는 고용환경에서 성인 초기 장애인의 고용가능성을 증진시키기 위한 메타버스 기반의 직업교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 개발 절차는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 선행연구 및 직업훈련 프로그램 분석, 장애인 근로자의 고용주(관리자)와 직업교육 및 서비스 제공자 면담, 장애인 근로자 행동사건면접, 장애인 근로자 대상의 요구조사를 바탕으로 15회기로 구성된 고용가능성 증진 프로그램을 개발하였다. 둘째, 다양한 메타버스 플랫폼을 분석하고 교육적 활용도가 높은 것을 선정한 후, 고용가능성 증진 프로그램의 내용과 사용자의 필요에 맞게 공간을 디자인함으로써 프로그램 적용을 위한 메타버스 교육 환경을 구축하였다. 이후 개발된 콘텐츠 및 메타버스 기반 실행 체제에 대해 전문가 타당도 조사를 실시하였고, 그 결과를 반영하여 성인 초기 장애인을 위한 메타버스 기반 고용가능성 증진 최종 프로그램을 완성하였다.

In this study, an educational program in the metaverse was developed in order to improve the employability of young adults with disability in the rapidly changing employment environment. The program was developed according to the following procedures. First, we reviewed previous research, and interviewed employers working with employees with disability, and vocational education and service providers. Furthermore, we conducted behavioral event interviews with workers with disability and analyzed needs of employees with disabilities. Based on the results, an employability promotion program consisting of 15 sessions was developed. Second, after analyzing various metaverse platforms, we selected one which could be used for educational purposes and easiest to use. And an educational environment in the metaverse was established by designing the space according to the contents and activities of the training program and the needs of potential users with disabilities. Subsequently, expert validity assessment was conducted on the implementation of the program on metaverse for young adults with disabilities, and we finalized the program after revising it reflecting experts’ suggestions.
