비판적 읽기 교육에서의 '실천' 의미 연구

초록/요약
현대사회의 독자들은 수많은 텍스트를 읽고 정보를 받아들인다. 그렇기 때문에 현대사회의 독자들에게는 정보의 범람 속에서 가치 있는 정보를 선별하고 평가할 수 있는 비판적 읽기 능력이 필수적으로 요구된다. 비판적 읽기 교육은 공정성, 적절성, 타당성 등을 검토하는 평가의 차원에서 점차 숨겨진 의미와 의도를 찾고 자기의 사유를 변화시키는 인지와 통찰의 차원으로 나아가고 있지만 현행 교육과정은 아직 기능적인 측면을 중심으로 비판적 읽기 교육이 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 비판적 읽기에서의 실천의 의미를 구체화하기 위해 시도함으로써 비판적 읽기의 실제적 교수학습을 위한 이론적 기반을 제공하고자 하였다. 본고에서는 비판적 읽기 교육에서의 실천 개념을 구성주의적 관점, 생태학적 관점, 비판적 담화분석 관점에서 탐구해 보고, 실제 교육과정에서 비판적 읽기의 교육내용을 마련할 때 '주체, 관계(망), 이데올로기'에 주목해야 함을 밝히고 있다. 또한 실천의 의미를 성찰을 토대로 한 의미구성, 가능성의 확장과 쓰기, 현실의 문제 해결을 위한 사회적 행동으로 다양하게 해석해 보았다. 이는 비판적 읽기에서의 실천의 의미에 대해 탐구해봄으로써 국어과에서 다루어야 할 실천 담론의 교육적 내용을 구체화하고자 시도하고 있다는 점에서 의의를 갖는다.

Readers in modern society read numerous texts and receive too much information. Therefore, modern readers are required to have critical reading ability to select and evaluate valuable information in the flood of information. Critical reading education is moving from an evaluation-oriented level that examines fairness and validity to an insight-oriented level that finds hidden intentions and changes one's thinking. However, the current curriculum is still being conducted with critical reading education focused on the functional aspect. Therefore, this study explores the concept of practice in critical reading education from a constructivism, an ecological perspective, and a critical discourse analysis perspective. It suggests that 'subject, relationship(network), and ideology' should be considered when preparing educational content for critical reading in the curriculum. In addition, the meaning of practice was interpreted in various ways as meaning composition based on reflection, expansion and writing of possibilities, and social behavior to solve problems in reality. In conclusion, it is worth exploring the meaning of practice in critical reading. This is because it encourages education of critical reading that emphasizes practice.
