SAQ를 반영한 원자력 교육 프로그램을 개발하기 위해 이 연구에서는 SAQ 교육과 확장된 동료공동체에 대한 다양한 문헌을 탐색하여 SAQ 교육의 교수-학습 모형을 개발했다. SAQ 교육의 교수-학습 모형은 “사회적으로 민감한 질문 인식하기”, “내 주제로 만들기”, “사회적으로 민감한 질문에 대한 다양한 의견 조사”, “사회적으로 민감한 질문 관련 다양한 전문가 및 시민 패널 구성”, “사회적으로 민감한 질문 만들고 답안 찾기”, “사회적으로 민감한 질문에 대한 최종 결정” 등 총 여섯 단계로 구성된다. 여기서 “내 주제로 만들기”는 위험 사회에서의 성찰성과 쟁점 상황을 주관적으로 파악하는 주관성을 적용할 수 있도록 했다. “사회적으로 민감한 질문 관련 다양한 전문가 및 시민 패널 구성” 단계 이후부터 탈정상 과학에서의 “확장된 동료 공동체”를 경험할 수 있게 했다. 이 모형을 통해 고등학생 대상으로 적용할 수 있는 원자력 발전 교육 프로그램을 제시했다. 개발된 SAQ 교육 교수-학습 모형과 원자력 발전 교육 프로그램에는 과학, 사회, 환경, 윤리 교육 관련 전문가 총 55명을 대상으로 한 전문가 의견이 반영되었다. 본 연구에서 개발된 원자력 발전 교육 프로그램을 통해 학생들은 SAQ 교육에서의 핵심인 확장된 동료 공동체를 경험함으로써 실제 과학기술 관련 정책 결정시 쟁점을 이해하는 데 영향을 미칠 것이다.

초록/요약

The purpose of this study is to develop the SAQ teaching-learning model and educational program for nuclear power. The SAQ teaching-learning model roughly consists of six stages: (1) Recognizing SAQ, (2) Making it my own topic, (3) Investigating different positions on the issue, (4) Composing various positions, (5) Finding answers to SAQ, (6) Final decision-making on SAQ. “Making it my own topic” in the second phase applied reflexivity/subjectivity of SAQ. From the 3rd stage on wards, ‘extended peer community’ educational activity was utilized. And according to the SAQ program stage, we developed a nuclear power educational program for high school students. These educational materials were evaluated by science, social studies, environmental education, and ethics educators. For this assessment, a total of 55 educators participated. Based on research, students can experience an expanded peer community. This activity will have an impact on understanding issues in policy-making related to science and technology.
