초록/요약
Purpose: After the advent of the 4th industrial revolution and COVID-19, there are many changes in the employment environment. The purpose of this study was to increase the employability of young adults with disabilities in modern society through a metaverse-based vocational preparation education program. Method: A metaverse-based vocational preparation education program was implemented for 9 young adults with disabilities who are currently employed or are actively seeking employment (or a job transfer). Results: As a result, the employability of participants increased by a statistically significant amount. In addition, the participants showed high satisfaction with the overall program contents and responded positively to the program being conducted in the metaverse environment. Conclusion: This study is meaningful as it implemented a vocational education program that reflected modern changes in the employment environment and provided services in the metaverse outside of the traditional educational environment.

연구목적: 본 연구에서는 4차 산업혁명과 코로나19 이후 변화된 고용 환경에서 장애인 근로자가 고용을 획득하고 유지하기 위해 필요한 역량을 갖추도록 지원하는 메타버스 기반의 직업준비 교육 프로그램을 통해 성인기 장애인의 고용가능성을 증진시키고자 하였다. 연구방법: 현재 취업 상태에 있거나 적극적으로 취업(이직)을 준비 중인 성인기의 장애인 9명을 대상으로 메타버스 기반 직업준비교육 프로그램을 실행하였다. 연구결과: 프로그램 적용 결과, 연구 참여자의 고용가능성은 통계적으로 유의미하게 증가하였다. 또한 연구 참여자들은 프로그램 내용 전반에 대해 높은 만족도를 보였으며, 메타버스 환경에서 프로그램을 진행한 것에 대해 긍정적인 반응을 보였다. 결론: 본 연구는 고용환경의 변화를 반영한 직업교육 프로그램을 실행하였다는 점, 전통적인 교육환경에서 벗어나 메타버스 상에서 중재를 제공했다는 점에서 의미가 있다.
