부정적 부모양육태도가 청소년의 사이버비행에 미치는 영향 -우울, 사회적 위축, 신체화 증상의 매개효과-

본 연구의 목적은 부정적 부모양육태도가 청소년의 사이버비행에 미치는 영향에서 청소년의대표 내재화 문제인 우울, 사회적 위축, 신체화 증상의 매개효과를 검증하여 사이버비행을 예방 및 완화할 수 있는 개입방안을 청소년복지적 차원에서 제안하기 위함이다. 이를 위하여 한국아동⋅청소년패널조사 2018의 중1 패널의 1차년도 자료를 이용하여 중학교 1학년 청소년2,587명을 대상으로 구조방정식모형으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 부정적 부모양육태도는청소년의 사이버비행에 직접적인 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년의 우울, 사회적 위축, 신체화 증상 모두 부정적 부모양육태도가 사이버비행에 미치는 영향을 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 부모의 양육태도가 부정적일수록 청소년의 우울과 신체화 증상 수준이 높아지며 이는 청소년의 사이버비행을 높이는 것으로 나타났고, 부정적 부모양육태도는 청소년의 사회적 위축을 증가시키지만, 사회적 위축은 사이버비행을 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 청소년의 사이버비행의 예방, 개입을 위한 청소년복지의 실천적 함의를 제언하였다.

초록/요약

The purpose of the present study was to examine the effects of negative parenting attitudes on adolescents’ cyberbullying and identify mediating effects of depression, social withdrawal, and somatic complaints. To this end, we used the 1st wave of the 2018 Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey(KCYPS). The subjects consisted of 2,587 1st-grade students from middle schools. The structural Equation Model(SEM) was conducted to examine mediating effects of adolescents’ depression, social withdrawal, and somatic complaints. The results showed that negative parenting attitudes positively affected adolescents’ cyberbullying. In addition, the relationship between negative parenting attitudes and cyberbullying was partially mediated by depression, social withdrawal, and somatic complaints. Based on these findings, the practice implications for youth welfare are discussed.
