초록/요약
디지털 미디어를 활용한 세대 소통을 촉진하려면, 우선 각 세대가 온라인 소통 공간을 어떻게 이용하는지 살펴보아야 한다. 이에 본 연구는 원활한 세대 소통을 위한 실마리를 찾는 것을 목적으로, 이용과 충족(uses and gratification)의 관점에서 각 세대가 온라인상에서 어떠한 내용의 대화를 주고받는지, 이를 통해 무엇을 충족하고 싶어 하는지 탐색했다. 본 연구에서 주목한 소통 공간은 국내 유명 온라인 커뮤니티이며, 이곳에서 자유롭게 소통하는 대화 양상을 살펴봄으로써 각 세대가 어떠한 소통 주제에 관심을 두고 있는지 살펴보았다. 온라인 커뮤니티 게시글을 분석한 결과, 세대별로 각기 다른 관심사를 갖고 있음이 확인되었다. 한편, 모든 세대가 공통으로 관심을 보인 주제도 발견되었는데, 바로 ‘인간관계’와 ‘성공에의 지향’이었다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 세대 간 소통에 필요한 자세와 방법을 논의했다.

In order to promote inter-generational communication via digital media, it is necessary to first look at how each generation use the online communication space. The purpose of this study is to find a clue for generational communication from the uses and gratification perspectives. This study focused on the online community as a dialogue space. This study investigated which communication topics each generation is interested in, analysing topic modeling analysis. Results indicated that there were distinct interests by generation in online community postings. However, a topic that all generations had a common interest in was also discovered, namely 'relationships' and 'orientation to success.' This study discussed the direction that can further promote intergenerational communication.
