본 연구는 청소년의 우울, 부정적 부모양육태도, 부정적 또래관계 간의 시간의 흐름에 따른 종단적 상호영향관계를 살펴보았다. 이에 2018년도부터 2021년도까지의 한국아동·청소년패널조사 2018의 중1 패널의 1-4차년도 자료(총 2,160명)를 자기회귀교차지연모형으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 청소년의 우울, 부정적 부모양육태도, 부정적 또래관계 모두 코로나19 발생 전후 시간의 경과에도 강력한 자기회귀효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 코로나19 발생 시기 전후와 상관없이 변수 간 상호영향관계의 방향성과 강도가 비슷한 것으로 나타났다. 연구 대상 기간에 걸쳐 이전 시점의 청소년의 우울은 이후 시점의 부정적 부모양육태도에 유의한 정적 영향을 미쳤지만, 부정적 부모양육태 도는 이후 시점의 청소년의 우울에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 셋째, 청소년의 우울과 부정적 또래관 계는 상호영향관계가 성립된 것으로 나타났다. 이전 시점의 청소년 우울이 이후의 부정적 또래관계에 유의한 정적 영향을 미쳤으며 동시에 부정적 또래관계도 이후 시점의 청소년 우울에 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 부정적 부모양육태도는 이후 시점의 부정적 또래관계에 유의한 정적 영향을 미쳤지만, 역의 관계는 성립되지 않았다. 코로나19 전후 변수 간 상호영향관계가 유사한 연구결과를 바탕으로 청소년복지의 실천적 함의를 제언하였다.

The purpose of the current study is to investigate the longitudinal reciprocal effects between depression, negative parenting attitudes, and negative peer relationships in adolescents. To this end, an autoregressive cross-lagged model was used using data from the 2018 Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey from 2018 to 2021. Participants were 2,160 1st-grade middle school students at Time 1. The results showed that depression, negative parenting attitudes, and negative peer relationships in adolescents were consistently stable over the study period. In addition, the direction and strength of the reciprocal relationships among variables were stable before and after COVID-19. There was a unidirectional relationship between depression and negative parenting attitudes: Adolescent depression had a significant positive effect on negative parenting attitudes, but negative parenting attitudes did not affect adolescent depression. There were statistically significant longitudinal reciprocal effects between adolescent depression and negative peer relationships. In addition, this study demonstrated that negative parenting attitudes had a significant positive impact on negative peer relationships, but negative peer relationships did not affect negative parenting attitudes. Implications for youth welfare were discussed based on the stability of reciprocal relationships among variables before and after COVID-19.
