초록/요약
열악한 주거환경은 아동의 성장에 많은 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려져 있다. 이에 본 연구의 목적은 국내 주거빈곤아동들이 주거환경으로부터 받는 부정적인 영향을 실증적으로 규명하기 위한 후속 연구들에 앞서 일차적인 기초 연구로써 기존의 통계적 데이터와 국내·외 선행연구분석에 기반하여 일차적으로 국내 주거빈곤아동의 주거환경 문제의 심각성을 추정하고, 향후 연구에 대한 제언을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 아동에게 있어 주거환경의 중요성과 주거의 물리적 환경요소를 고찰하고, 주거의 물리적 환경이 아동에게 미치는 영향에 관한 선행연구 35편의 연구결과를 분석하였다. ⌜2020 주거실태조사⌟ 데이터를 바탕으로 국내 물리적 주거빈곤아동가구의 규모를 분석하고 이론적 고찰을 통해 알게 된 각종 실증적 선행연구들의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 국내 주거빈곤아동가구의 주거환경 문제의 심각성을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통해 이후 건축분야에서의 아동주거빈곤 연구를 위한 연구설계의 주안점 및 국내 최저주거기준의 개선방안을 다음과 같다. 첫째, 건축분야의 아동주거빈곤 연구에서는 주거의 여러 물리적 환경요소들의 중요도 및 영향력을 고려하여 보다 종합적이며 체계적으로 분석할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 한국만의 특수적 맥락을 고려하여 지하·반지하 주거공간의 물리적 환경 및 전기 공급 여부와 실내온도, 소음, 화재위험 및 방범상태 등이 아동에게 미치는 영향에 대해서도 면밀히 살펴볼 필요가 있다. 셋째, 국내 최저주거기준은 국내·외 선행연구를 통해 밝혀진 내용을 충분히 반영하여 보완 및 개선될 필요가 있다.

Physical poverty in a residential environment has many negative effects on a child’s development. This is a preliminary study toempirically identify the negative impact a residential environment has on children in physical housing poverty in Korea. Based on the2020 Korea Housing Survey data and analysis of 35 previous studies, the seriousness of the residential environment problems that childrenface in physical housing poverty was estimated and suggestions for future studies in architecture with administrative rules such asminimum housing standards in Korea was presented. The results revealed the necessity to consider the importance or influence of eachphysical residential environmental factor while organizing these factors more systematically. Additionally, it is necessary to consider thecharacteristics of Korean housing such as underground and semi-underground housing, differences according to Korea's ondol system, andthe high preferences for apartments. Lastly, the minimum housing standards in Korea need to be supplemented and improved based on thecontents revealed through previous studies.
