본 연구는 현직 중·고등학교 음악 교사를 대상으로 코로나19 상황(20-21년)에서의 음악 수업 실태 및 이 에 대한 인식을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 서울시 소재의 중·고등학교 음악 교사 100명 을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 연구 문제에 따라 빈도분석을 사용하여 분석하였다. 이 를 통해 도출된 연구 결과의 요약은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 코로나19 상황에서 온라인 수업에서는 ‘감상’ 영역을 가장 많이 지도하였으며 대면 수업에서는 ‘기악’ 영역을 가장 많이 지도한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 온라인 동영 상 및 과제 수업과 온라인 실시간 쌍방향 수업에서 감상 영역을 지도할 때의 어려운 점으로 질 높은 음악 소리 제공의 어려움이 가장 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 음악 교사들은 연주 영역(가창, 기악)과 창작 영역을 온라인 수업 으로 지도할 때의 어려운 점으로 학생과의 소통 부족을 가장 많이 선택하였다. 넷째, 연구 참여자들은 코로나 19 상황에서 온라인 수업에서 연주 영역(가창, 기악) 수업의 가장 큰 장점으로 학생들의 자기 주도 학습 환경 이 형성될 수 있었다는 점을 꼽았다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 코로나19 상황 이후 음악 수업의 발전을 위한 학교 현장 개선과 온라인 수업을 위한 프로그램, 교육 자료 개발이 필요함을 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the actual conditions of music classes in the COVID-19 situation(20-21) and music teachers’s perception of their teaching situations. A total of 100 middle and high school music teachers in Seoul participated in the research survey, and the collected data were analyzed using frequency analysis according to research problems. The summary of the research results was as follows. First, it was found that in the COVID-19 situation, listening area was the most frequently taught in online classes, and playing was the most frequently taught in face-to-face classes. Second, when music teachers taught listening in online classes, they felt difficulty in provid- ing high-quality music sounds. Third, the most challenging part about teaching singing, playing, and composing was to effectively communicate with students in online classes. Fourth, music teachers recognised that the greatest advantage of teaching singing and playing in online classes was to en- courage students to become self-directed learners. Based on the results of this study, it was suggested that we should provide specific support appropriate for each area of music classes and to develop programs and educational materials for online classes.
