본 연구의 목적은 저소득층 청소년 대상 미술교육 프로그램 지도 경험이 예비교사의 교사효능감에 어떠한 변화를 가져오는지 탐색하는 데 있으며 이를 질적 사례연구를 통해 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구는 2021년 5월부터 11월까지 진행된 저소득층 청소년 대상 미술교육 프로그램에서 지도 경험을 한 예비교사 4인을 연구 참여자로 선정하고 교사효능감 척도 문항들을 재구성하여 심층 면담을 진행하고 자료를 수집하였다. 연구자는 연구 참여자들이 저소득층 청소년 대상 미술교육 프로그램에서학습자의 정서적 특성을 이해하여 미술을 통해 긍정적으로 사고하고 사회 정서적 문제를 해소할 수 있는 수업을 설계하였음을 알 수 있었다. 나아가 연구 참여자들은학습자의 낮은 자존감과 학습 동기 등 학습자의 정서적 특성을 고려하여 학습자가 민감하게 받아들일 수 있는 언어나 대화 주제를 배제하고 독려와 칭찬 위주의 학생지도를 경험하였음을 알 수 있었다. 결론적으로 연구 참여자들은 위와 같은 교수와 지도 경험을 통해 학습자의 긍정적인 변화를 발견하고 교사로서 성취감을 느꼈으며교사효능감이 형성되고 증진되었음을 발견할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 학습자의 정서적 특성을 고려한 미술교육과 미술 교과 예비교사의 교사 효능감과의 관계성을 제시했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

This study aims to review how the instruction experience in the arts education program for teenagers from low-income families could bring change to pre-service teacher's efficacy through qualitative case study. In this study, a total of 4 pre-service teachers who instructed in the arts education program for teenagers from low-income families which was held from May to Nov. 2021 were chosen to carry out in-depth interview. The pre-service teachers who participated in this research experienced the process of instruction design, aiming at bringing positive changes to those teenagers’ unstable emotions through the arts. Furthermore, they could experience learning motivation-centered instruction by complimenting and encouraging, trying to avoid any language or behavior that may hurt them. In conclusion, through the arts teaching methods and instruction focused on learners’ emotional characteristics, the pre-service teachers discovered learners’ positive changes and felt a sense of achievement as teacher and thus, the per-service teacher’s efficacy developed and improved. This study discovered the relation between the importance of learners’ emotional characteristics focused art education and the pre-service teacher’s efficacy.
