초록/요약
연구목적: 본 연구는 자폐 범주성 장애 아동에게 가상현실(VR)을 적용한 실험 연구의 전반적인 동향과 중재의 특징 분석을 통해 앞으로의 중재 방향과 및 향후 과제에 주는 시사점을 모색하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 2010년부터 2021년까지 국내외 발표된 논문 중 기준에 따라 선정된 총 23편(국외 22편, 국내 1편)의 논문의 전반적 연구 동향과 VR 활용 중재의 특성에 대하여 분석하였다. 연구결과: 문헌 분석 결과 첫째, 연구 참여자는 지적장애를 동반하지 않은 초등학생이 가장 많았다. 둘째, 연구방법으로는 단일대상연구가 가장 많이 활용되었으며, 유지/일반화를 측정하지 않은 연구가 많았다. 셋째, 종속변인으로는 사회성 영역이 가장 많았다. 결론: 이상의 연구결과를 바탕으로 ASD 아동을 위한 가상현실 활용 중재에 대한 논의와 향후 과제 방향에 대해 제언하였다.

Purpose: This study explores the trends and tasks of intervention research related to virtual reality(VR) based intervention research for school-aged children with autism spectrum disorder(ASD). Method: Among the studies published from 2010 to 2021, 23 studies(22 international, 1 Korean) were selected by specific criteria, then analyzed according to their overall research trend and the characteristics of their VR-based interventions. Results: First, participants were mainly elementary-aged and most individuals without intellectual disabilities. Second, as a research method, single-subject study was the most frequently used, and many studies did not measure maintenance/generalization. Third, the social area was the most common dependent variable. Conclusion: Based on the above research results, the discussion on VR-based intervention using virtual reality for children with ASD and the direction for future tasks were suggested.
