우리의 독서 환경은 디지털과 인공지능의 발달에 따라 개인독자에서 독서공동체와 사회적 독서로, 인쇄 텍스트에서 디지털 복합양식 텍스트로 전환되고 있다. 또한 오프라인 기반 인쇄 문자 중심의 텍스트 읽기 상황에서 분리되어 있던 맥락(context), 통일성(coherence)이 온라인 기반 디지털 복합양식 텍스트와 만나면서 보들읽기와 함께 맥락과 통일성을 동시적으로 파악해야 하는 맥락통일성(contexerence)의 개념이 대두되고 있다. 사회적 독서란 ‘실제 혹은 가상 공간에서 독자(들)가 텍스트의 의미를 구성‧공유‧실천하는 독서 활동’을 가리킨다. 이러한 사회적 독서의 차원은 크게 ‘실제세계/가상세계, 개인/집단’의 구분에 따라 4개 차원으로 구분될 수 있다. 촘스키는 인간의 생득적인 언어능력설을 주창했으나, 이러한 언어능력보다 더 근원적인 인간의 능력과 욕구는 아마도 ‘이야기하고 싶음과 이야기 듣고 싶음’을 위한 ‘담화텍스트 능력’이 그 기저에 있다고 볼 수 있다. 최근 AI 기술의 급격한 발달에도 불구하고 가장 인간다운 교육은 서로 마주보며 성찰적 경험을 바탕으로 체득하며 성장해 나갈 수 있도록 촉진시켜 주는 것이다.

This study estimates the type of social reading possible with the classroom space and artificial intelligence technology. With the development of digital and artificial intelligence, our reading environment is changing from individual reading to reading communities and social reading, and from printed texts to digital complex texts. In addition, the context and coherence, which were separated from the text reading situation centered on offline-based printed characters, meet the online-based digital complex form text, and the context and coherence must be simultaneously grasped along with the reading. Social reading refers to “reading activities in which the reader(s) construct, share, and practice the meaning of text in real or virtual space.” This dimension of social reading can be largely divided into four dimensions according to the classification of “real world/virtual world, individual/group.” Chomsky advocated the theory of human innate linguistic abilities. However, human abilities and desires more fundamental than these linguistic abilities are probably based on “discourse text ability” for “wanting to talk and wanting to hear stories.” Despite the recent rapid development of AI technology, the most humane education is to face each other and promote learning and growth based on reflective experiences.
