초록/요약
지속가능한 미래를 위하여 전 세계가 함께 추구해야 하는 목표인 지속가능발전목표(Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs)는 이를 실천하기 위한 교육적 동력이 필수적이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 SDGs 실천을 위한 미술교육이 나아가야 할 방안을 도출하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 SDGs와 지속가능발전교육에 대한 문헌연구와 관련 미술교육의 사례를 분석하고 SDGs 실천을 위한 미술교육의 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 첫 번째 방안으로 학생들에게 필요한 4가지 역량과 6가지 실천과제를 도출한다. 두 번째, SDGs 실천을 위한 미술교육에서의 현장 적용을 위한 가이드로 S(Sustainable)-MAP Approach를 제시한다. 본 연구는 학생들이 미술교육을 통해 SDGs의 가치와 신념 그리고 실천에 대해 경험하고 학습하며 자신의 삶을 지속가능하게 지켜나갈 수 있는 교육적 방안을 모색하였다는 데 그 의의가 있다.

An education initiative is essential for the world to meet our shared goals for a sustainable future, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This study aims to derive a plan for art education to practice SDGs. To this end, this article analyze extant literature research on SDGs and education for sustainable development and case studies of related art education; then presents a plan for art education to implement SDGs. For the first method, we derive four competencies and six practical tasks that students need. Second, the S (Sustainable)-MAP Approach is presented as a guide for field application in art education for SDGs practice. The significance of this study is that it seeks an educational way for students to experience and learn about the SDGs’ values, beliefs, and practices through art education and sustain their lives sustainably.
