본 논문의 목적은 ‘한국 청소년의 음악적 자기개념 프로파일(K-MSCP_Y)’을 개발하기 위해 예비검사 및 본검사를 통해 검사 도구를 타당화 검증한 결과를 제시하는 것이다. 본 연구의 앞선 과정에서 도출된 검사 하위구인, 내용요소, 문항으로 설문지를 구성하여 배포 및 자료 수집을 하였으며, 예비검사(N=251)와 본검사(N=284) 결과의 분석을 거쳐 4영역, 21 내용요소, 73문항의 척도를 개발하였다. 개발된 K-MSPC_Y는 한국의 사회ㆍ문화ㆍ교육적 맥락을 반영한 척도로서, 프로파일 활용을 통해 한국 청소년의 음악 교육 및 발달에 관한 이해를 높이고, 개인 차이와 관련된 요인들을 탐구하는 데 기여할 것을 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to develop a measurement tool and profile for assessing the musical self-concept of Korean adolescents, and to present the process and results of its validation. In the preceding stages of this research, the sub-domains, content elements, and items of assessment were developed through interviews with Korean middle school students, resulting in the construction and distribution of a questionnaire for data collection. An analysis of the preliminary survey (N=251) and main survey(N=284) results, resulted in the development of a scale consisting of 4 domains, 21 content elements, and 73 items. This measurement tool, K-MSPC_Y, reflects the social, cultural, and educational contexts of South Korea. Through the utilization of profiles, it can contribute to a better understanding of music education and development among Korean adolescents and to explore factors related to individual differences.
