이 글은 17세기 문사와 기녀의 사랑을 기록한 시집 『尹晴詩卷』이 만들어지게 된 배경과 이 시집에 수록된 시들을 분석하여 17세기 문사들의 사랑에 대한 태도, 17세기에 창작된 애정전기소설의 창작 배경에 대해 살핀 것이다. 『윤청시권』은 17세기의 관료 문인 五峯 李好閔(1553～1634)과 義州 기녀 尹晴의 사랑을 이호민이 직접 기록하고 다른 문인들로부터 그에 대한 시를 받아 수록한 것이다. 윤청의 시권이라고 했기 때문에 윤청의 시도 들어 있었을 것으로 생각되지만 현재 이 시집은 전하지 않고 이 시집에 남긴 몇 편의 시들만이 남아 있다. 『윤청시권』에 시를 쓴 문사들은 <주생전>을 쓴 권필을 비롯해서 당시의 대표적인 시인들인데, 이들이 『윤청시권』에 남긴 시들은 17세기 애정전기소설의 주요 모티브들을 포함하고 있다. 이 글은 이 둘의 연관 관계에 대한 고찰을 통해 17세기 애정전기소설의 창작이 어떤 분위기에서 이루어졌는지 그 현장을 짐작해보고자 했다. 또 다분히 유희적이고 자유로운 분위기에서 만들어진 『윤청시권』을 통해 당시 문사들의 사랑에 대한 인식이 흔히 애정전기소설의 주된 정조로 이야기되는 고독이나 쓸쓸함, 소외와 불우와는 일정한 거리가 있음을 밝혔다. 이를 통해 17세기 애정전기소설의 창작과 작품의 의미에 대해 새롭게 이해할 수 있는 실마리를 찾을 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

This article examines the background of the creation of Yooncheong Si-kwon, a collection of poems about love of Lee Homin(李好敏, 1553-1634) and Yoon Cheong(尹晴) and analyses the attitudes toward love in the 17th century. Lee Ho-min, a 17th century bureaucrat recorded about his love with Yoon Cheong, a Gisaeng of Uiju and compiled the love poetry volume under the name of Yooncheong Si-kwon, where he also included other writers’ records of it. Even though the title of this book suggests poems written by Yoon Cheong might be also included, any of her works are not found in this love poetry volume. The other writers in Yooncheong Si-kwon are Kwon Pil, an author of Jusaeng-jeon, Lee Jeong-gwi, Lee An-nul, and Cha Cheon-ro, all of whom were representative figures who pursued the Tang Dynasty style and dominated the trend of poetry at that time. It is notable that these writers compared the main characters of love, Lee Ho-min and Yoon Cheong, to immortals exiled to the human world. This motif of the immortal world implies the influence of Tang Dynasty style. Another characteristic of these writers is their positive attitude toward Lee Ho-min’s recording act of love on the ground that the feeling of love cannot be suppressed. These aspects lead us to consider the atmosphere of the creation of love stories in the 17th century. Through the consideration of it, this study demonstrated these love poems have distinctively playful and free atmosphere which is different from such moods as solitude and loneliness that have been referred as the dominant spirits of love stories of those days. This conclusion gives us a new clue for multi-layered understanding of the creative atmosphere of 17th century love stories and the meaning of the concrete love poems.
