디지털 기술 및 1인 가구의 증가 등으로 최근에 프리랜서 비중이 크게 증가하고 있다. 그러 나 프리랜서 온라인 플랫폼은 중개 업무만 할 뿐, 프리랜서의 업무 수행에 필요한 업무 도구 및 기능은 부족한 상황이다. 본 연구는 프리랜서 인력 중 가장 큰 수치로 증가한 디자인 직군의 프리 랜서들이 커뮤니케이션 도구로 가장 많이 사용하는 카카오톡에 대한 사용자 경험 요인을 조사 하여 커뮤니케이션 만족도에 미치는 카카오톡 기능을 연구하였다. 카카오톡에 대한 기능 요구사 항을 도출한 결과 사생활과 업무 분리 기능, 단체 채팅방 관리 기능, 클라이언트 정보 파악 기능 등 7가지의 요구사항을 도출하였으며, 이를 해결하기 위해 구체적인 기능과 시나리오를 제시 하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 기반으로 제안한 기능이 적용된다면 프리랜서 디자이너들이 업무를 원활하게 진행하는 데에 긍정적인 기여가 있을 것으로 기대한다.

The rapid advancement of digital technology has diminished the constraints of time and space in work, dissolved boundaries in organizations, and enabled the effective segmentation and manipulation of entire tasks. This trend has resulted in a growing number of freelancers. Nevertheless, existing online platforms for freelancers are currently only intermediaries, lacking the essential tools and features for freelancers to perform their work effectively. This study explored the user experience factors of designers, a group that has experienced the greatest increase among freelancers, specifically focusing on their usage of KakaoTalk, the most widely used communication platform. The study aims to investigate KakaoTalk features and their impact on freelancers’ communication satisfaction in the design field. Moreover, we evaluated whether KakaoTalk contributes to enhancing productivity and communication quality in the actual working environment of freelance designers. Additionally, we presented functional requirements for KakaoTalk and suggested guidelines for its development. The analysis yielded seven functional requirements for KakaoTalk, including features such as the separation of work and personal life, group chat room management, and client information tracking. To address these requirements, specific functions and scenarios were proposed. The findings of this study are expected to contribute positively to providing a more efficient work environment for freelance designers.
