초록/요약
연구목적: 본 연구는 코로나19 기간에 발생한 장애학생 교육격차 실태를 분석하고 위드 코로나 시대의 교육격차 방지를 위한 지원 요구를 파악하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구방법: 전국의 특수학급, 특수학교, 특수교육지원센터에 근무하는 2,459명의 특수교사와 4,785명의 학부모가 설문조사에 참여하였고, 응답 결과를 분석하였다. 연구결과: 특수교사와 학부모는 코로나19 시기 장애학생이 변화된 환경에 적응하는 데 어려움을 겪었다고 보고하였다. 특히 장애학생의 원격수업에 대한 어려움과 지원 요구가 두드러졌으며, 사회성 및 운동능력에서 부정적인 영향이 가장 심각했음이 확인되었다. 결론: 연구 결과, 코로나19 시기 장애학생의 교육격차가 다양한 영역에서 발생한 것으로 나타났다. 위드 코로나 시대의 장애학생 교육격차 발생을 최소화하기 위해서는 팬데믹 발생 시에 적용할 명확한 지침 마련, 지원인력 및 원격수업을 위한 지원 제공, 학교 안팎의 다양한 프로그램 및 전문가 활용 방안 수립이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the educational gap of students with disabilities during the COVID-19 period and to identify the needs of teachers and parents. Method: A survey was conducted on 2,466 special education teachers working in kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high schools, and 4,929 parents of students with disabilities. Results: Teachers and parents reported that students with disabilities had difficulty adapting to environmental changes during the COVID-19 period. In particular, there were difficulties with remote classes and support was needed. In addition, students with disabilities were negatively affected in terms of sociality and motor skills. Conclusion: As a result of the study, it was found that educational gaps for students with disabilities occurred in various areas during COVID-19. To minimize educational gaps for students with disabilities during the “With Corona era”, clear guidelines on the pandemic must be established, support personnel should be prepared, support for distance education must be provided, and a plan to utilize various programs and experts inside and outside of school must be established.
