초등학교 교무부장이 인식하는 업무 특성과 경험 탐색: 온라인 단체대화방 내용을 중심으로

본 연구는 초등학교에서 학교행정가와 교사 간의 업무 연계 및 행정의 중심에 있는 교무부장들이 실제로 업무 수행 과정에서 무엇을 문의하며, 어떤 경험을 하는지 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 A지역 초등학교 교무부장들이 1년 간 온라인 ‘단체대화방’에서 나눈 업무 관련 질문과 답변, 그리고 의견을 수합하여, NVivo 프로그램을 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 온라인 단체대화방에서 교무부장 간에 질문과 답변을 통해 가장 많이 소통한 내용은 학적·학사관리, 교원, 학교행사, 학부모·학생, 각종위원회 업무 순으로 나타났다. 또한 교무부장들이 업무를 수행함에 있어 지침 부족, 업무 분장의 모호성, 다양한 학교구성원 간 의견 조율 등에 어려움을 느끼고 있었지만, 학교 업무에 대한 이해도가 높아지거나 개인적인 성장을느낄 때 보람을 느꼈다. 특히 단체대화방에서 업무 상 어려울 때 동료 교무부장들이 기꺼이 도와주고 지지와 격려를 해주는정서적 유대감과 감사함이 언급되었다.

This study aimed to explore what experiences the heads of school affairs department, who are at the center of work connection and administration in elementary schools, while performing their duties. To this end, the data was compiled work-related Q&As, and opinions shared by the heads of the department in the A School District over an academic year in an online group chat room. The data was analyzed using the NVivo program. As a result, the most frequently communicated contents were in the order of academic affairs, faculty matters, school events, parents and students and various committee work. While they experienced difficulties due to a lack of job related guidelines, ambiguity in task division, and coordinating opinions among diverse school members, they felt rewarded when they felt personal growth.
