초록/요약
The growing emphasis on musical theater education in cultural arts highlights the need for discourse on genre-specific instructors. This study identifies research trends on musical theater teaching artist (musical TA), utilizing literature reviews and text mining of publications from 2000 to 2022. The literature review revealed that the examination of musical TA has significantly influenced numerous publications in various fields. We utilized text mining to extract keywords and their frequencies from these publications. We analyzed the correlation between these keywords and research topics through semantic network analysis and topic modeling, respectively. The analysis discovered that the prevailing research trend in the realm of musical TA has primarily revolved around the discourse of musical education, with an emphasis on school education. We inferred active art education domains based on the research topics, including school, language, society, creative performance. This study is the first literature review and big data study in the field of musical theater education, providing theoretical implications for the study of musical TA and practical implications for human resource development in performing arts education.

최근 문화예술교육 현장에서의 뮤지컬 교육 활성화 추세로 장르별 예술강사에 대한 연구공동체 구성과 담론 형성이 대두되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 뮤지컬 예술강사 연구 동향을 파악함으로써 뮤지컬 교육 내 인적자원개발의 기초자료를 제공하는 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2000~2022년도까지 발행된 뮤지컬 예술강사 관련 학술지·학위논문을 대상으로 문헌고찰과 텍스트마이닝 분석을 시행하였다. 문헌고찰 결과 뮤지컬 예술강사 연구는 문화예술교육 정책변화에 따라 논문 수에 영향을 미치는 분야로, 학술지와 학위논문 별 각각 여섯 가지 전공에서 주로 연구되고 있는 주제로 나타났다. 텍스트 마이닝 기법을 활용하여 그간의 연구에서 주로 사용된 핵심 키워드의 빈도분석, 이들의 상관관계를 유추할 수 있는 의미연결망 분석과 전체 논문들의 연구주제를 분류할 수 있는 토픽 모델링 분석을 실행하였다. 빈도분석 및 의미연결망 분석 결과, 현재까지의 뮤지컬 예술강사 연구동향은 예술강사에 대한 논의보다 학교교육을 중심으로 평생교육을 포함한 뮤지컬 교육 담론을 주로 다루고 있는 것을 파악할 수 있었다. 토픽 모델링 분석 결과 총 4가지 주제(학교, 어학, 사회, 창작·공연)가 도출됨에 따라 뮤지컬 예술강사가 활동하는 문화예술교육 현장을 유추할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 뮤지컬 교육 분야 내 최초의 빅데이터와 문헌고찰 연구로 뮤지컬 예술강사 단독 연구와 관련한 이론적 시사점과 공연예술교육 인적자원개발의 실천적 시사점을 제공하고 있다.
