본 연구는 2005년부터 18년간 진행되고 있는 지역아동센터 클래식 악기 교육의 성과를 시작과 과정 및 결과로 탐색하였다. 참여경험 일반 아동 그룹 및 음악전공자 그룹, 부모 그룹, 지역아동센터 센터장 그룹 등 4그룹을 구성하여 19명의 연구참여자로 FGI를 수행하였다. 주요 연구 결과로는 클래식 악기 교육은 참여경험자에게는 진로 선택에, 부모는 가정 및 가족관계에, 센터장은 지역으로 확장되는 긍정적인 영향을 확인하였다. 연구 결과를 토대로 클래식 악기 교육은 진로 탐색을 위한 교육과정으로 확대 지원되어야 하며, 부모의 적극적인 지지와 아동의 자발적 참여 제고 방안을 모색하며, 교육 과정의 내실화와 함께 지역과 연계하며 확산될 필요가 있음이 제언되었다. 본 연구는 클래식 악기 교육의 성과를 아동, 가정, 지역의 영향으로 확인하고 향후 취약계층 아동대상 프로그램과 기업 사회공헌 활동의 긍정적인 사회적 성과를 제시하기 위한 기초자료로 활용되고자 하였다.

This study explored the achievements of classical music instrument education in community child centers, ongoing since 2005, for 18 years. The participants were divided into four groups: general children, music major students, parents, and community child center directors, totaling 19 research participants who conducted FGI (Focus Group Interviews). The main findings revealed that classical music instrument education positively influenced the career choices of the participants, the family and domestic relationships of the parents, and had an extending positive impact on the community by the center directors. Based on the findings, it is suggested that classical music instrument education should be expanded as an educational course for career exploration, seeking active parental support and voluntary participation of children, and needs to be integrated and spread in connection with the community, ensuring the enrichment of the educational program. This research aimed to utilize its findings as foundational data for presenting the positive social outcomes of programs targeting vulnerable class children and corporate social contribution activities by confirming the effects of classical instrument education on children, families, and communities.
