초록/요약
Abstract The coastal liner is the only means of transportation that connect land and islands to the inhabitant of the island, and plays an important role at sea such as becoming a means of transportation for tourists in the island in accordance with the settlement of a 5-day work system and improvement of the living standard of the people, whereas it is in a harsh condition compared to land transportation. Therefore, the efficient operation of the coastal liner is tried to be studied. This paper analyzed the actual current condition of the liner, and analyzed the results of questionnaires about problems that appear conducted by field workers related to the coastal liner based on the research of documents. As a result, various problems appeared such as the small scale of the coastal liner, the change of transportation demand due to the construction of the landfast bridge/the bridge between islands, the difficulty in supplying high quality seamen, and a decrease in population of the island, etc., As efficient management plans for those problems, description was made on modernization of the liner, investment of material resources such as surrounding infrastructure construction, securing high-quality human resources, government investment in the development of the field of the liner, and political measures through reconstruction of system to support the revitalization of the coastal liner.
